grape-picking

Post by sue and paul »

A friend who has had difficulty logging into the forum has asked me to post for her.

She would like to know if there is any short-term grape-picking to be had in the area for visitors. She recalls something about picking grapes at midnight, but can't find the link.

Does anyone know?

We offer a "picking experience" which might appeal to your friends. Basically they can come and join in with picking in the morning and join us for lunch and a bottle of wine to take away. They can contact me directly through the website or details below.

Only machines pick at midnight :D

One of my neighbours tried to do hand-picking at night. He equipped everyone with head-torches. It was a disaster. Three sliced fingers, loads of mouldy grapes picked and hundreds of bunches left on the vines.
