Having got tired of the discomfort of village café/bars I have opened my own (the Louis IV) in a small village north of Beziers. Trying to combine the friendliness of the local populace but with the interior comforts of an English bar (NO Turkish toilets!) Live music every Saturday night as well as good simple food with a nod to better British cuisine, and listening to the more practical suggestions from my clients. No smoking in the Bar but heated terrace for those who do.

As an almost house trained Scot I will endeavour to keep a few good Malt Whiskies and for my Irish friends the new Guinness system as well as excellent wine.
