Reminiscing...
We had a member on here, lovely man, ashamed to say both of us have forgotten his name.
From Montana, he had suffered a stroke and it left him dyslexic...he had a French wife and lived around st Genis. Played guitar and had some beautiful ones for sale..one being a Martin...
This gent died around 4 /5 years ago..we are just listening to music in the style he played, Ian did a jam with him.At the time we didn't have money for more guitars.
Come on Kate, help us fogies.

Oh boy, those were the days you could have a argument..today everyone needs a safe space
God bless Roger, carol sheriden and the cheaky chap Serge.
Paddy frog, he must be watching from the sidelines.
Outie..I can vouch that he is still argumentative, but I have to add that if you could bring up all his posts, most of what he was arguing has come to pass.

It was before my time but my OH, who is looking over my shoulder as I write, is muttering
something about an item asking if restaurants would reduce prices when VAT was reduced.Says it produced mayhem.

Re: Reminiscing...
This thread takes me back.
I remember Roger, Blackduff and Outie (I think he held the record for being banned).
It was rumoured that he was(is),your other half, Opas.
In particular Serge and I had many a banter.
I think that was the time of the dreaded FW too.
Getting "homesick" now. Haven't been back to the PO or even to
France itself since we moved back to the UK in 2010.

What's the FW?

FW was the nickname we gave to the tramontagne.
It used to drive Mr Polremy mad.
