If you're looking for somewhere posh, this isn't for you. If you're looking for friendly staff in a clean but relaxed atmosphere then you won't go far wrong. This seems to be a gathering place for the older locals in the evening where they meet for a drink and some food over a chat, or relaxing in front of the large TV on the back wall at the end of the day, however visitors are made equally welcome. You could liken it to a local country pub back in Blighty. The food is reasonably well priced for the quality - particularly the tuna steak which my partner said was absolutely delicious! Sadly some of the desserts were out of stock but the chocolate mousse with whipped cream and wafer on top was another nice and sizeable treat. This isn't a top quality place, but then it doesn't pretend to be. It is however a surprisingly good eatery with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Aimed at locals, but welcoming of visitors.
