Another "dieselgate" scandal?
Investigators are now looking at Renault. We all know that VW, Audi, Skoda & Seat are in the clag, where will it end? If PSA (Peugeot & Citroen) were to be investigated as well..............a catastrophe for French Industry.

Being investigated shouldn't be the problem if they haven't done anything wrong but the stock market doesn't see it that way.Smiley G wrote:Investigators are now looking at Renault. What stuns me is that it was the CGT Union that reported the raids, wiping 2bn of their employer's market valuation.

You could take the view that they were courageous and public spirited by exposing wrong doing and, in so doing, placed themselves at risk.
But I expect that, in common with all management, the management at Renault is so awful that they just wanted to give them a bloody nose.
And anyway, it's hardly a surprise, all of the manufacturers will be doing it. It was just Renault's turn to get caught.
