I have been trying to book euro tunnel online and keep getting authentication cannot be verified, system error. Contact your CSR. I have tried on my UK credit and debit cards as has my partner. Cards seem to work elsewhere. Is it to do with Internet? We are using iPads. They work for amazon purchases and in shops. Help, please. Sue [/b]

You may need to contact your card provider to set up either;
Verified by Visa

or MasterCard SecureCode

As a general tip, ensure that the address you complete on, in this case a booking form, matches in format the exact format held by your bank or card issuer. In addition, if your cards are registered at a U.K. address, Eurotunnel may be detecting that you are trying to book from a French IP address.
I suggest the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode options will be the best especially if you ask your card providers to remove any "fraud risk" flags that may be sitting on the account.

Thanks for advice but sadly I think it is the verified by visa bit that is causing the problem. I have had that for some time and I usually just have to put another password in. That page is struggling to come up, I glimpse it for a second, then, whoosh, it's gone and the same old message comes up about the CSR. I always put correct billing address in. My partner's card worked this morning so if it comes to the worst he will have to pay for eurotunnel!
