A relatively new cheese and wine shop in the pretty Place Gabriel Péri near the curch.

The selection of cheeses is quite extraordinary. Raphael treated me to a dozen samples, all of which were exceptionally tasty. I was smitten bu a Brillat-Savarin with truffles. Amazing!

He has cheese from all over France as well as some great Swiss, Belgian and English cheese. As he explained, Stilton and Cheddar are lovely cheeses when you buy artisanal ones but most French think Cheddar is the yellow stuff they put in a McDonalds cheeseburger.

He's a fan of Natural wines. So don't expect to find the usual suspects from Terrasous, Dom Brial and Vignerons Catalans here. They are all from small producers who manage their vineyards ecologically and make wine avoiding additives and manipulation.

While not strictly a restaurant, you can get a cheese platter and a glass of wine at lunchtimes to eat outside. You can combine this with plates from the fine Traiteur, Marion Puig, next door.
