Fireworks

I fancy having a Guy Fawkes party; can you buy display fireworks in France/Spain? Not small selection boxes but big ones like those used in organised displays.
Are there any legal restrictions?

I believe someone commented on this subject here before.
You cannot purchase fireworks without a license from the local prefecture
which is the reason none of the shops stock them in France.

Whether you can buy the fireworks or not, you will not allowed to shoot them over the land. There has been quite a few forest fires this summer and I doubt the authorities will let someone shoot fireworks over the PO.
Contact your Mairie and ask them if you can have a permit. If not, it's better not buy the fireworks.
