Brand new (opened on 1 Jan 2011) refurbished premises on the old N11 at Sils ,just 5 mins off the AP7 jcns 8 or 9, south of Girona. Run by a very helpful and enthusiastic young couple,who are working hard to get a new clientele base.
Excellent value Menu del Dia for 10€ at lunchtime,then superb carta in the evenings. Nothing fancy or pretentious;just classic Spanish and Catalan dishes ,using fresh ingredients well cooked and presented at reasonable prices in comfy surroundings. The local house wine at 6€ a bottle is a steal.
Probably a bit far from PO to go for a special trip,but this makes an excellent alternative to the Motorway services for those en route to or from Barcelona,for example.
