Re-directing mail within France

Post by cufc »

Does anyone have experience of having mail redirected from one address to another in France? How do we go about getting it done e.g. what is it called? Can it be done on-line? How much does it cost? Etc

My daughter did this, cufc. I seem to recall that you have to go into the Post office in person with about a million justificatifs! lol

It cost 20 something euros I believe.

Try these - assuming you are changing your address?
http://packmna.laposte.fr/mna/
The "Pack" is useful!
and for "officialdom"
http://www.e-demenagement.fr/avant-deme ... ligne.html
has also the "gouv" links included.

You're welcome. Don't forget things like the carte grise!!

If you go to the Gouv link from the first one, you can "open an account" which means "identify yourself" then fill in the details of your move and all the
"official instances" like tax office, etc. which you tick to be notified will be contacted automatically from the site itself so no letter sending necessary.
We did it when we moved up here from Le Soler in Dec 2007.
France is getting modern...!!
