I was married to a French man, had a child, we divorced. I still live in France do not work, have an allowance for my child from my ex but I do not qualify for a Carte Vitale. Why?

With only the above rather meagre information to go on, there's no way we could know exactly why.
Surely the CPAM is the organisation to ask, perhaps with a friend to translate if the person concerned is not fluent
in French.
