Long term parking near Carcassonne Salvaza

Post by dworkin »

(I'm so glad to have found this site:D. After having a place in the Haute Corbieres for 4 years it's great at last to have found a site with such a wealth of local knowledge and experience)

I've been looking for somewhere nr. Carcassonne Salvaza to park a car long term.

I hoping it might prove more convenient (and cheaper!) than hiring every time I fly over.

Anyone have any ideas or experience of this? I was thinking of a remise/garage/farmers field/transport company yard/shared leasing/shared ownership etc etc

cheers everyone and pleased to meet you all.

Hi and welcome.

The person who possibly can help you is Roger he has recently moved to Carcassonne, he will no doubt contribute to your request.

Carcassonne parking

Post by Kathy »

Hi there. This link to a discussion about this topic on another forum may be useful. Not sure whether Nick is offering Carcassone airport in those services. But it is cheaper than the tarrifs at Carcassonne.

If you scroll down the tarif list, you can opt for 'tree-monthly'. Quite good for the planet!!!

Wow, what a remarkably useful and friendly forum - thanks for all the speedy replies.

Now I've an inkling of the storage costs I guess I need to think about tax, insurance and so on since a car left in France all year will have to have French tax, ins., registration, etc.

Any links to that sort of info?
