Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could advise a good English speaking tax consultant / accountant in the Perpignan area? Not too expensive, if that actually exists...!!!

Not in the Perpignan area, but I have recently signed up with Advice France and have been very impressed so far with the quality of advice. They are looking for new clients due to existing ones returning to the UK.

I approached a number of other firms I found on the net who couldn't even be bothered to reply!

In my experience face to face meetings are not as important as the quality of the advice and guidance you get. After local incompetence I have had much better results from www.nle-accounting.com.
They are not particularly expensive, speak English fluently are based in Paris and Greater London and can do accounts for both countries. I would wish you luck but you do not need it with this firm. I found them when desperate for tax refunds I was due, and cold called them.
