Car Registration advice
BY EMAIL
I have tried to register my wifes 2008 car in France, they say I need a CoC even though the conformity number is in section K of the UK registration document, two years ago I registered my 2007 car here and the number in section K was taken as the conformity number, not only has my registration been rejected, they hung onto it until my CT was older than 6 months, so I will need another CT to try to register. Is there some one I can appeal to about this

Re: Car Registration advice
At the risk of sounding negative, I would that, although you could probably try, it would be far easier to just get a CofC and a new CT and start again, it would waste much less of your life.

Re: Car Registration advice
Both cars I registered here needed COCs before I could get the CT.
These can be obtained from the manufacturer at a reasonable cost, in the case of Jeep anyway.
