99.9% certain you would get it at the Asian Centre at Mas Guerido. You could try first in Intermarche, Argeles where they do the oriental and British food stuff.

Thanks. our son is visiting and is cooking for us tomorrow as a treat. You should see his shopping list!!!!! :lol:

Sue is correct about where to find the Wasabi. There is one change though ~ the Asian Centre has changed to "five continents" or something similar. It's owned by the same people and most of the ingredients are still available.

... and its still in the same shop. I was there last week and as far as I could see it was the name and facia which has changed, the inside remaining exactly the same.

Shop-bought Wasabi is mostly horseradish and contains 5% actual Wasabi at best. I grow my own (in the UK) but have yet to harvest it.
