At the risk of stating the obvious, it's worth checking how accurately they cut it up. I have a stove designed for 50 cm logs, and it will take up to 53 or so, but about 30% of an average load from the local guys, who are selling it on the side, won't fit. It's a prize faff, but at least I have a chainsaw and some space to play with - up there. Down here, I've not so far needed anything more than the aircon running backwards, and then only briefly.interiors66 wrote:We use abiven in maureillas , good service good logs , we have oak and beech delivered in 30 cm logs
If I ever wanted more, I would get a pellet stove, but that's no help if you're committed to what you've got.
