How do you get your car washed?

Flights; transfers; trains; ferries; routes; getting to and from the PO; lifts offered or wanted; motoring and biking matters.

How do you get your car washed?

Post by BobC50 »

Can anyone point me in the right direction please. It seems so simple but is proving very difficult (for me). All I want is for someone to wash my car, it's covered in the muck of the drive from Calais.
I am in Amelie Les Bains but happy to travel as far as Perpignan if I have to.
Many thanks.

There's a car wash at Intermarche in Ceret. I have also seen one at the Total in Arles sur Tech, but I have never used it.

Just find an Elephant Bleu. For 10€ your car will be like new.
5 cycles at 2€ each;
Pre-Wash
Main Wash
Rinse
Lustre
Spot Free finish
If it's difficult for you to jet wash it yourself I'm sure someone could go with you. Saves automatic wash scratches as well!
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Not a beleiver in washing cars myself...... The 'Greasy film' protects the surfaces and they always seem to get dirty again within a couple of Days anyway.....I do however wash our Caravan as that does get 'dirty' behind the Car!!!
