I've just received my phone bill from Orange and note for the first time there is a charge for "Contact+".

Anybody else had this or know what its about?

I haven't contacted Orange about anything. I've only made normal phone calls.

Is it a new "service charge"?

SFR just billed me 40€ for downloading 11 films.....which we haven't done. Most I have onDVD. And we use a free dodownload site for films or you tube.

Letter of reclamation sent and acknowledgement received. Waiting for banswers to what device was used and if public WiFi or our box.

Orange OPEN Contracts

To void these charges.
Go to your Orange page and click on "Espace client"
Click on "Vos contracts"
Scroll down to "Internet"
Click on "Parametere service"

The top two boxes shown are the culprits. They should be highlighted "Deactif".If not click on to each to change.
There are explanations on the web somewhere that explain how to use these facilities but for most ordinary mortals they are a nuisance.

Thanks for that, Malcolm.

I challenged Orange about the charge, and they have decided to refund the amount "as a special service".

No explanation as to why it was charged in the first place!
