ZARZUELA. in le Boulou
Just been sent this.
If you haven't tasted a real zarzuela, (Spanish-style fish stew) this might be a good opportunity to do so.
Created by the local 'traiteur' in Le Boulou, and presented at his recently opened restaurant, La Belle Vigne, I have been told that this version of this fish dish speciality is excellent and very reasonably priced.
A friend who recently tried this small restaurant (NB only open lunch times) was very impressed on quality and price of lunch and would definitely return again.
His one criticism was the lack of atmosphere in this restaurant which also doubles up as reception rooms for weddings etc so lacks the character of an established restaurant - but well worth it for the grub!!
