A long shot

Post by Jalo »

Hi all I have 15 members of my family arriving at Perpignan airport on may 4th.
They have booked the flights from all over and found a place in Argeles sur Mer that will cater for us all
My husband and I live near Narbonne and will be driving down to Argeles but they have left it to us to figure how to get them from the airport to the village??
Anyone any suggestions for me please :)
Also how far is the beach from the village
This is going to be fun

Sounds fun!

I guess it depends on how much money they want to spend/save and whether they want access to cars during the stay.

If the latter they could just hire cars at the airport.

At the other end of the spectrum they could all do the entire journey to Argeles by public transport - or taxis from the airport to the bus/train station and then onwards by either service.

As for distance to the beach, to be honest it really depends where in Argeles sur Mer you're all staying.

Maybe this company can help? (Not a recommendation! I've never used them)

https://www.holidaytaxis.com/en/airport ... s-sur-mer/

Or just google 'Argeles Sur Mer taxi' - that throws up several local companies

Glad you got the transport from the airport sorted.

Villelongue del Monts is a village some distance from the nearest beaches - probably at least 15 kms or so.

There are a couple of restaurants and I see Kate has sent you a link giving you more info about those.

Sadly, I'll be in the UK at that time - but have a wonderful stay with all your family.
