This obviously a well-intended facility. But I've often wondered how often it is likely to produce hits: our limited active community, at any one time, makes it seem a bit like playing pinning the tail on a donkey.

Has anyone tried, in either role, using the specialised sites for ride-sharing? A random search last night showed nothing much for Carcassone airport, but quite a few for Girona. Any experience?

My children have both used it successfully from both paying and payee side of things. When they need a lift somewhere they say it is best to look nearer the date of the trip as most people advertise last minute.
