Weather station

Post by russell »

There hasn't been much activity in this section for a while so I thought I would put my weather station on line: www.eberhardt.org.uk
You can find the current weather in Millas there and also statistics for the week, month, and year although as yet there is only about a month's worth of data.
For anyone interested in the technical side, I'm using a Watson W-8681 weather station and running Weewx software and an Apache server on a Raspberry Pi to get it on line.

Well, us old codgers must do something to keep the brain active. Especially as the body will no longer do as shown on the left. :D

Just returned from a week away - no rain recorded despite very heavy rain last night. I have just evicted a family of spiders from the rain gauge so normal service is resumed.

Can anyone suggest a good spider repellent?
