Flippin' cold and windy here, just in time for the mother in law to arrive!

Can't complain though - we've had a superb autumn so far. Take care in all that snow Jen.

Surely you should be having "warm and sunny" in the same sentence as m-i-l ?

Not "cold and windy"...

You'll have to do indoor things...baking? knitting? crochet? scrabble? Does she play bridge?

She's Sicillian. Totally Cosa Nostra (not). Expecting to wake up and find a horse's head on the pillow next to me, but so far, it's just been the head of a scruffy grey dog (not the husband) with a smelly body attached to it, so I suppose I shouldnt complain!

She's OK really, just makes me feel better to have a little moan and tell a few MIL jokes! Hoping she'll knit me a scarf and some gloves in the FIVE weeks they are staying!!!!!!

Ha ha! Snowshoeing eh? No there's a thought!! Let me know when the snow is over 5ft 4!!
