Does anyone know of an English speaking mechanic?

My car is making some strange noises and wondered if anyone knew of an English speaking mechanic in the area?
I know nothing about cars in English, never mind French so it would be a lot easier for me to explain those weird noises if the mechanic spoke English.

I'm not sure if he's still there but Steve at the Speedy garage in Perpignan (Porte d'Espagne) is very helpful.
