Well parcel arrived today ...impressed.

Has anyone else used Parcels Please lately?

They seem a complete shambles, a parcel booked last Wednesday was finally picked up today from my office in England with them having failed to turn up on 3 other days. The same thing also happened the last time I used them.

They don't return phone calls and more often than not they don't answer the phone when called.

Have I just been unlucky?

Unfortunately we suffered the same fate. I put our experience down to the close proximity of christmas, but perhaps not!

Ah - sorry.
That's what comes of posting too early! (before I've had my morning coffee I mean - not too early for Christmas)
Think I'll just go back to bed and try again later!

Parcel picked up near Nottingham Tuesday 5pm; arrived Aude 8.30 am today (Friday). Parcelsplease still ok by me.

Maybe a problem with initial pickup centre for some places.

rather points out how Ryanair take the p**s.
We ONLY use Ryanair now as a last resort... I personally would much rather drive and with the 4 of us , in school holidays, a much cheaper option.

Rather have two hours flying to two days driving, myself, and can easily cope with 10k allowance, but it's only two of us and we can travel anytime.

I don't quite get the point, what has the shipment of a parcel got to do with Ryanair - surely you are not comparing a parcel with 3 day delivery to accompanied luggage.

My neighbour just used www.parcel2ship.co.uk and it worked fine. A bit more expensive than parcelsplease used to be but about £20 for 30k I think.
Apparently parcelsplease have lost contract with UPS so costs have rocketed. Shame.
