electrician

Post by mwana »

Hi

Anyone know an electrician? Our lights have fused so when I turn one switch on another light comes on which isn't meant to, also our kitchen lights aren't working and the switch on the electric board thing won't trip back into place, not sure if is this going to be an easy job or difficult, so recommendations greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I know his wife Eliane, she gave me French lessons, but he's always so busy. Do you think he would do what might be quite a small job?

I know a guy. But first, let me know about these questions.

Where do you live?

Do you speak French or German

I know the guy but I'm not sure if he's working through a company or just on his own, again. Pricewise, I cannot say. He lives in Latour bas Elne now.

Hi

I'm in St Jean Pla de Corts, so not too far, I speak French, well I can get by, O'level german but I'm pretty sure that that would be horrendous.

He (Mr Marsa) rewired our house in Vallée Heureuse in the 90s
and also installed a complete new Franco Belge oil-fired central heating system with 1500m3 tank in our place in Le Soler. This installation was admired by all the professionals who worked at our place after for various jobs.

If you phone him (I don't know if he speaks English but he does a lot of work for British customers) give him regards from Roger Oliver!!

I'll check with this guy in Latour bas Elne.

My plumber might be a good contact too. I know he's an Electrician but I normally use his function as a plumber. I'll have to get ms blackduff give me the telephone and name.

I think Robert Morley is a good bet, he has done both plumbing and electrics for us and the work has been excellent.

Yep, can't disagree. Rob Morley's the man as far as we're concerned and worth waiting for if he's busy which is surely a good sign in itself.

Mwana, Just re-read your original post and it does sound as if waiting ain't necessarily an option! However, Rob's definitely worth contacting.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for all your replies, I haven't had a chance to do anything about it yet as I got struck down by flu, never had it before, really quite unpleasant! Anyway I will start afresh tomorrow. My friend Debra said it may just be as simple as changing the fuse but she was unable to take the fuse out!!

Once again thanks very much
