Looking for very good carpenter/ glazier

I'm hoping to convert a pair of garage doors into porte fenetres. Can anyone recommend a really good carpenter (or is it glazier) who could cut the openings and fit glass panels?

Tryba do that. Excellent quality....not cheap!

Thanks Kate I wondered if they would do. Are you sure they do stuff to existing doors. All their website blurb mentions new doors and windows!

Glad to hear that their quality is good - plan to get my volet roulants from them!

All our windows and shutters are Tryba and when we decided to do a garage conversion we used them. As Kate mentioned they are not the cheapest but their workmanship is excellent and they give a very long guarantee. You could always request a free visit and estimate and don't forget to mention that you are a member of P.O. life, it will give you an automatic 10% discount . Even with the discount you can negociate a price.

We really need to replace our sliding placard doors.
While we can probably buy the doors from Leroy Merlin or Castorama please can anyone recommend someone who could fit them?
We are in St Cyprien.

we can also recommend Phil from St Cyprien. He did similar work for us. Removed a window and replaced it with French doors and replaced French doors after a break-in. Very reliable, happy to recommend him
