gas boiler/engineer

i have a client in perpignan who wants to rent out his appartment.
the heating and hot water is run from a "combi" boiler(town gas )
can anyone advise if these needs certifying safe prior to rental and if so could anyone recommend someone in the perpignan area.

I wouldn't know and neither would the client , the letting agent is being awkward with the condition and the client is just trying work out where best to spend his money .

Not dodgy. Just an uninterested investor ,I'm sure if he made an effort he could find out this info but busy people like others to do all footwork.
As I said he wants the place renovated but needs to know where best to spend his money. If it is not a legal requirement requirement to have his boiler tested when it works perfectly well this could mean he could spend that money on other things .
