Needed - someone to look at our woodburner ASAP
Our carbon monoxide alarm has gone off a couple of times and so we have stopped using the woodburner and need someone to look at it ASAP. As it's pretty blinking chilly without it.
Any recommendations? English or French speaking is fine.

Thank you for your advice via PM Martin and for the web address Kate...
We have now concluded it is the fire not the alarm...we lit it again on Monday and smoke was pouring out of everywhere including backing up from the flu as well...(yet it was also coming out of the chimney too)!
So we put it out and aired the room which was full of smoke. We called the people you mentioned Kate and they sent someone but he only did boilers for central heating, so either our explanation was awful or they don't do fires...
Currently we are not running the fire for obvious reasons but if anyone knows someone who will look at the fire and diagnose the problem...we would be grateful for their info.
