We are using our log burner this winter, but only for additional comfort heat, so not a huge amount. We only need 1 steer of wood, but most suppliers only sell 3 steers at a time.

Would anyone like to split a load, or know of anyone who would do one steer? We are based in Llauro, near Ceret.

Some suppliers will have you only buy 1 Stere but they won't deliver amount that small. If you have a trailer, check some supplier which give you the smaller amount of wood.

Another thought! Buying the 3 Stere is a good investment. First, it will be cheaper for the amount buying and it will be cheaper than the prices next two years.

The wood you wouldn't burned this year would become very dry for the next year or so. This will give you more heat from those logs, so it's a bonus from buying the 3 Steres this year.

Sorry about sharing on your purchase. I have already ordered five Stere and it's finding it harder to get logs before December now.
