Gardening problems
I'm just starting to plant stuff for the first time.
Can anyone suggest a site that is good for getting answers to questions eg why are the leaves on my Lavateria going yellow?
I just know I'm going to have loads to ask about planting down here.

gardening problems
I have hundreds (thousands even) of a little red bug/insect in my garden. Its no bigger than the top of a pin but seems to be on every plant as well as being all over the patio. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Re: gardening problems
Probably "Red spider mite". Normally controlled by spraying with a suitable insecticide.Sue wrote:I have hundreds (thousands even) of a little red bug/insect in my garden. Re: Gardening problems
Most likely lack of nutrients in the soil. Try feeding with a plant food that contains iron.cufc wrote:why are the leaves on my Lavateria going yellow?
However it could also be lack of water, too much water, or vine weavil in the roots.
