we live in England and have been trying to sell an apartment in Perpignan for nearly a year, through the same agents we brought from: Beautiful South - such a nightmare! they are bringing the details to the exhibition in London this weekend and we have to sign a new mandate to have price reduced. Just wondered if anyone would be prepared to advertise privately etc. in France who is not connected to Estate Agents!

I sold a couple of properties a few years ago in the magazine French Property News. The market was much better then.

Have you tried putting the property on to the Boncoin website?
It's free so nothing lost!
It could be that you agent has done that already.

We sold 3 out of 4 properties privately all through http://www.green-acres.com/ last year

We got loads of enquiries & because we could take off the agents commission they were a very attractive price to buyers.

You need to pay to advertise with them but it's worth every penny.

We sold ours through Green Acres, about €50 to advertise.
