Selling a flat

We live in England and are thinking of selling our 2 bedroom flat in Vernet les Bains.

Has anyone any advice on how to go about this smoothly? I have had Bleu du Sud recommended as agents.

Might it be easier to sell it in England and can anyone recommend any websites?

Lastly - is there any French equivalent to Rightmove where you can see recent prices that similar properties have sold at?

Many thanks!

I would suggest selling on Rightmove, Leboncoin and if you want an agent, through the English speaking Leggett Immobilier. If you look at Rightmove you can see what the houses are selling for in the area at the current time, but the market is very different to the UK. Le BonCoin is what the french use; both individuals and agencies advertise there. You could also advertise via an ad in French Property News, which is a great magazine. If you contact Leggett they will appraise and value your property free of charge. Bon courage!
