English speaker at CPAM?

Hello everyone!

You are all so knowledgeable on this forum, I'm hoping you'll be able to help.
Is there an English-speaking helpline at the CPAM in Perpignan? and can you make an appointment to see them?
I'd like to ask them if I am eligible for a Carte Vitale, and if so, what sort of documentation I'd be required to bring along.

Not sure if there is an English speaker in Perpignan but there is an English speaking CPAM helpline which is 08 11 36 36 46.

I'm sure that when we went to CPAM in Perpignan in October last the person on reception gave us an appointment with an Englishspeaking lady.

I seem to remember once being interviewed in Perps by a man - very tall he was! - who spoke quite reasonable English.
Don't let scary looking women with bright red hair put you off.
We have always been pleasantly surprised at the sympathetic and helpful staff.

When we insisted because we needed some specific help re being a 'ressortissant britannique' (UK migrant) we got to speak to M Beisser (maybe Philippe). He is the director of the Service International, or was at the time, about 3-4 years ago. You will need an appointment with him, if you are allowed near him. Good luck.
