Iâ€™ve used Roundup successfully, they do a specific version for Ivy but that may not be available in France.

You can get it in branches of Mains Verts

Cut to ground level , you will be left with stumps

Drill holes into stumps, preferably 8mm at least diameter

pour bleach into holes
