Clinics in Perpignan area

Please help! I need to get a very painful abcess drained today ( if possible)
Are there any clinics that I could go to get this done or do I have to go to a&e in the main hospital? I got to a doc last friday and he gave me antibiotics and pain killers but he didn't seem inclined to want to drain it. I've rung my doctor in Ireland and she advises getting it drained asap!

I appreciate any suggestions and we are willing to drive a distance if need be.

I had a similar thing not so long ago, which was going septic. (sorry if you're eating your lunch!!) I went straight to Ceret hospital and they put me into a private room on a drip to drain the infection and sorted it out the next day under local anaesthetic.

I honestly don't consider it the best hospital/clinic around, and wouldn't recommend it for big things, but for things like that it's perfect.
Bon courage.

Thanks Kate, went to the medipole in Cabestany and got sorted. They were excellent and I only waited 20 mins. Not what we're used to with A&E departments in Ireland! Just sorry I didn't go there first instead of the doc last Friday.

Hi Kenny
I did use my card and I was charged about €75 as far as I can remember, which compared to Ireland isn't too bad!
