I have just learnt that Michael MacDonald, much liked and known as Blackduff on the forum, left us in September.

He joined this forum in 2005, helped countless people out with advice over the years, which he would go that extra mile to obtain, made loads of friends, both on the forum and off. He was a lovely, friendly, warm and gentle man. So sad you're gone Michael. Night night xxx

Sad to hear that, he was one of the old stock.

We are so sorry . I assumed he had joined the FB anglophone direct as the reason he was not posting.

I never met 'Blackduff', but over the years admired his helpful responses here on the forum. It was clear that he was just happy to share his knowledge and experience - and helped many a person along the way.
