Healthcare Top Up Insurance Schemes

Post by Nigel Bright »

Can anyone provide me with recommendations for any mutual complementary health insurance schemes?
I have checked out the normal private companies Axa and Alliance and now want to compare their cover and costs against the mutuals, but have no idea which have the best reputations in the Perpignan area.
Any help would be appreciated.

We found' Via Sante' were offering a good price and gave 2 months free.
They are a 'local' operation and have offices in at least Carcassonne and Perpignan
We only go for the basic cover and it works out approx 80 euros a month for a 50 something, a 40 something, a 17 year old and 8 year old.

Try Matmut, they are the best value for all insurance in my book.

We have used Roussillonaise/Via Sante for about 8 years and are very happy with them. Payment has never been questioned and goes straight into our account promptly.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions, I will check them all, although the more I look into the healthcare top-up system the more confused I get, as none of the the companies use the same medical descriptions or format as the CPAM reimbursement chart.
Maybe there are reasons for this, but I can't think of a good one!
Thanks again.
