I went to two matches last night at Aimé-Guiral in Perpignan: Japan vs Wales followed by NZ vs Australia. Both v entertaining, and I’m not an avid watcher of professional sport. The ground filled up for the second game, as you’d imagine, but it wasn’t full.
It seems to have had surprisingly little publicity or coverage. Matches continue at Perpignan, Narbonne and Béziers.
