I want to buy my gardener and his family a Christmas present.

If we lived in England I would have bought them tickets for a pantomime but they don't seem to exist here.

Does anyone know of anything similar here, or perhaps a circus or indeed any spectacle suitable for young children.

Yes, Theatre de l'archipel in Perpignan have a circus, probably more for kids than adults though

Thanks Kate, I looked at that show but although they say it is for kids, it doesn't look all that child friendly.

What about the theatre in Thuir?

not sure about a show but if you want to consider something else, we found the nature and climbing park at Mollo pretty good (molloparc.com), or the Argelès Aventure site is also good fun for different ages.
