Free concert at Argeles

Did anyone see the free concert of Chico and the Gypsies last night at Argeles plage? It was brilliant. It's reckoned that about 20000 people were there. Good fun with lively music. Well done Argeles.

I think the free concerts on the coast are a superb idea.....but although I didnt go, I was told that the 70s night in St Cyprien last week was a nightmare of alcohol fueled fights, lost kids, accidents.... Difficult to find the right balance wherever there are big crowds I suppose. I also heard that it was fabulous, just spoilt by some bad behaviour. All those grown up 70s chicks and guys exercising their right to free love and rebellion maybe?

Saw Chico and the Gypsies last year. Great music, great atmosphere.

Have to say, didn't see one bit of bad behaviour last night. Lots of overtired children though!
