"Docteur, docteur....
Mes dents claquent comme des castagnettes."
"Ah oui ! Ce doit être la grippe espagnole!"

"Docteur, docteur....
Je n'entends pas bien"
"Aha.

Any more docteur docteur jokes? En Francais bien sûr!!

Not really docteur, docteur and only funny if you are one of the 94 family. My father spent the latter part of the war as a gunnery instructor in a FFE unit in Madagascar. He used to take the sick parade when it was his turn. One of them told him, “mon colonel, mon estomac est légèrement en rebellion”. It’s the “légèrement” which is the gag, obviously.

It is now part of our lexicon, and often useful: “I’m légèrement hung over”, or whatever.

One to reflect the over indulgence of the season :noel:

Docteur, docteur j'ai du vent! Pouvez-vous me donner quelque chose?
Oui, voici un cerf-volant!

Lol....but just to be irritatingly pedantic, it wouldnt quite work in French cos you would say ‘J’ai des gaz’. J’ai du vent doesnt really mean anything in French. :french: :french:
