I will be relocating from the US to Angoustrine which is close to Font Romeu as well as Bourg Madame. I think at this point I really will need instruction in French. Does anyone know where I might obtain this within a reasonable distance?

I wish you luck, but teaching French as a foreign language to adults is a distinct skill which you might or might or not find up there. If you are starting pretty much from scratch (which is my impression, despite your French wife) you are going to need a lot, and it is going to cost a lot, and involve a lot of commuting, if you buy it one-to-one. I suspect that you might cover a lot of the more routine (but necessary) stuff using the various online resources (free and paid for) which now exist. Forgive me if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs, as we say in the UK.
