Does anyone know of a charity that takes unwanted clothes?

Emmaus is a good source for taking older clothes. I send a lot of items there and they're very happy with clothes.

This is situation on the road between Le Boulou and Auchan. It's easy to find.

Or you could pass them on to Erik if it's not too late Keith.

We have taken boxes of old clothes to the Croix Rouge in Place Orfèvres, Perpignan.

If they're in good conditiion they can be donated to a tiny shop in Perps: 37 Avenue Aristide Briand (on the road down to the Place Cassanyes). This is a charitable organizatiion which sells (for a pittance!) clothes (including men's clothes) bags, household linen, shoes, etc. The volunteers also make clothes (they made a wedding dress for a friend of mine); it's Perpignan's very first Charity Shop!

Thanks for the help. We eventually went to Emmaus as it is our side of Perpignan. I t was very easy to leave stuff there and busy with people buying recycled goods.
