It is a shame that Basil does not seem to post on this forum. It is refreshing to read his articles. He obviously knows a good deal about day to day life in our society and is not afraid of mentioning local politics.

There is no other way to put this, he died n 2012, if you do a search on the form there is an article about him.

I immediately thought of Basil when I saw the news of the service finally coming on stream, he wrote a series of articles entitled "will I live to see the day" ?
Unfortunately he didn't live to see it, what a pity.

Yes, whenever I see that article I feel sad. So glad tho that he was the kind of guy to DO things, not just write about them. He really got around, went places, and had an insight into the goings on of this region which he was able to translate into a clear and readable article, even politics! :lol:
