Paying Taxes Foncieres

Post by gleber »

We normally pay this by sending a cheque but as the amount this year is over 300 euro we want to pay by prelevement. We have returned the tear off slip at the bottom of the bill which had "Adhesion au Prelevement" printed on it. We attached our Bank details and signed the paper and returned in the envelope to Centre D'Encaissement in Lille. Does anyone know what happens next? Do we get informed that this information has been received or just wait to see if the payment is taken from our Bank account before 15th October? I have searched on the www.gouv.fr site for an explanation but find it all a bit confusing.

Thanks for any helpful information.
