Filming/chromecast

We have a problem casting Filmon to chromecast.
It started last weekend, I got a message across top of TV screen saying streamexpirectl. This page is designed for chromecast devices usage only.` which i have.
I have rebooted chromecast and Filmon....but just wont cast, chromecast is ready, have the pin etc on screen.
We were away last week and using EZ cast device successfully, so assume chromecast and Filmon are at fault.
We did a search , it apears the 2 companies are blaming each others aps
Any advice welcome.....Martyn I await your imput
