Another way is a dedicated Mini PC or Android box, permanently cabled (HDMI) to your TV

Is this in response to my post on the thread "British and Irish TV..."? I said I watch TV via a PC. In fact iI do exactly what you suggest. A dedicated miniPC feeding the TV via HDMI. To complete the picture I also have a netbook which I use for llistening to the radio. I used to have an internet radio but it did not have access to the catchup facilities.
