What would our parents have thought of this thread while they sat watching their 14" B/W Pye television and slapping the top of the telly to stop the picture from rolling

I also watch UK TV in HD without any subscription via XBMC Addons using a standard Android Box.....on a 2mb connection without any Buffering....

14" TV....they were lucky..... we used to have to watch from our cardboard box, thru the neighbours window!!!!! (a la Monty Python)
I must say, i still have memories of watching the 3 nations Rugby on a tiny very Grainy B/W Tv set from a great distance with the other 300 Pupils of my School aged around 7 in the early 1960's!!!! and we were LUCKY!!!
