internet radio

Post by martyn94 »

I don't watch much tv, but I do listen to the radio. It's not difficult, but the quality - specifically on BBC Radio 3 - is not always as good as it could be. Google searches throw up out-of-date info on their high-bit-rate streams: any advice on how to get them, with or without recourse to VPN/ smart DNS?

You can easily get BBC on your computer or ipad...

Check out www.tunein.com

http://tunein.com/search/?query=bbc

No need for VPN or DNS..Radio is available without those problems...

We also have stand alone interent radios in the house that connect to our network by wifi

If you have I Tunes on your PC you can go to internet radio for free. Classic or Classic Rock whatever you want.

I've not had any quality problems with Radio 3 over internet.

Internet radio and streaming services are the future of music. Spotify, Last FM, Deezer, ...
